Born in Syria in 1991, Anas Albraehe is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on painting and theatre performance. He studied painting and drawing at the Fine Arts University of Damascus, Syria. After the onset of war in Syria, he relocated to Lebanon where he completed his MA in Psychology and Art Therapy at the Lebanese University. His recent work combines his expertise in the fields of art and psychology, to create a contemporary portraiture that explores the psychology of color and the glance of the other. He participated in a variety of group exhibitions and performed his first solo exhibition “Manal”, in 2017, at Artspace in Lebanon and Finan Gallery in Jordan.
